We invite you and your club to support an important humanitarian initiative being hosted by the Rotary Club of Avalon Park.
Feed Jamaica is a district-supported meal-packing event benefiting families in Jamaica who continue to face severe food insecurity following the recent hurricane. This initiative is needed because the damage is still severe, the economy is depressed, and jobs and income have not recovered.
Our hands-on service project will take place on:
Saturday, February 21, 2026
10:00 a.m.
Tanja King Pavilion
13401 Tanja King Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32828
Our collective goal is to raise $4,000, which will provide 10,000 nutritious meals to families in need. Any funds raised beyond this goal will directly translate into additional support options and broader community impact.
To put the power of this effort into perspective, just $0.40 provides a full meal. Even modest contributions make a meaningful difference, and when multiplied across our district, the impact is extraordinary.
We respectfully ask each Rotary Club and its members to consider supporting this initiative through:
• Sending your financial donations via this link:
https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/feeding-jamaica-2
• We encourage both individual and club contributions
• We ask your club members to attend and participate in packing the meals to be donated.
This project of global compassion strongly reflects Rotary’s mission of service above self and our shared commitment to disaster relief.
Thank you for your continued support, generosity, and dedication to service. Together, we can help restore hope and dignity to families who need it most.
