Adopt a rubber duck for a $20 suggested donation. Your duck gets a number and races twice — once at 10:00 and again at noon. One adoption, two chances. You do not have to be there to win. Anyone, anywhere, can adopt.

A free family morning on the water — thousands of adopted ducks, three races between 9:00 and 1:00, and a crowd that stays. Every duck carries a supporter who chose a local cause. Your business can be the name on it. Four ways in — pick your level below.
A space on the field for the whole event, 9:00 to 1:00. Set-up runs from 7:00 to 9:00.
Bring your own tent, table and weights — no vehicles on the field.
Food and drink are Nona Adventure Park's exclusive. Business displayers (banks, services, realtors) are welcome.
Kids' games are spread among the booths, so the crowd walks past every vendor.
Golden Duck and Silver Splash sponsors already have a space included. Big Duck sponsors get duck + space for $300.

Kids' games run all morning, spread among the vendor booths. Nona Adventure Park's own attractions are open, and the park is working on a discount for Duck Derby visitors.

Duck races (10:00 AM and 12:00 noon). One numbered duck is entered per adoption, and each duck is entered in both races. Ducks are released together; each race runs 15–20 minutes. Finishing order is determined solely by wind and current. In each race the first three ducks across the finish line win $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000, awarded to the registered adopter. A duck that wins the 10:00 race remains eligible for the noon race. Winners are notified by email and telephone; you do not need to be present to win. All prizes will be awarded. The number of ducks is limited. Online adoptions close December 4. At the park, adoptions made before the 10:00 race enter both races ($20); adoptions made after the 10:00 race enter the noon race only ($10). Sales close five minutes before each start.
Sponsor Duck Race (11:00 AM). One oversized, numbered duck is entered per sponsor duck ($200, or included with a sponsorship level). The first duck across the finish line wins $1,000, awarded to the sponsoring business. Same release, course and conditions as above.

Eligibility. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter or win.
Free entry. To enter without a donation, mail your name, address, telephone number, email address and a copy of a photo ID (entrants must be 18 or older) to Rotary Club of Lake Nona, 10524 Moss Park Rd, Ste 204, Orlando, FL 32832-5801, postmarked by October 15, 2026. Limit one entry per person. Free entries are assigned a duck and have the same chance of winning as donated entries.
