Dedicated anti-human trafficking advocate with over 35 years of experience in human services at the local, state, and national level. Proven leadership in nonprofit development, coalition building, policy advocacy, and victim-centered response systems. Founder and co-founder of numerous pioneering initiatives and coalitions, with a reputation for implementing innovative, trauma-informed solutions to combat human trafficking across multiple sectors.

Chase Tikker – CEO, AdventHealth Lake Nona

Chase Tikker is the CEO for AdventHealth Lake Nona, driving the planning, operations and growth of hospital services in the surrounding market. He started his career at Loma Linda University Health in progressive finance and accounting roles – before joining AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in 2015, where he served in the areas of finance and physician enterprise operations. He later moved into executive positions with AdventHealth Orlando and AdventHealth East Orlando, respectively. Chase holds a Master of Business Administration from La Sierra University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Union College. He is also a certified public accountant and serves on the boards of the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce and the Forest Lake Education Center.

 

Sharon Almeida – COO, AdventHealth Lake Nona

Sharon Almeida serves as Chief Operating Officer at AdventHealth Lake Nona, who’s leadership is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to operational readiness as AdventHealth Lake Nona prepares to open in November 2026. A trained nurse with almost 2 decades of leadership experience, Sharon brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and operational excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in leadership. Sharon is passionate about advancing whole-person care—addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being—and is deeply aligned with AdventHealth’s mission as a faith-based organization.
